How alternative sandbags may be needed to tackle coronavirus threat

FloodSax manufacturer Environmental Defence Systems Ltd also devised a military grade version of its alternative sandbag called a BlastSax.

The company has developed the BlastSax over many years with the Ministry of Defence and with the coronavirus starting to spread in the UK you may have read about the need to deep clean premises such as schools that could have become infected.

This can involve significant amounts of water and detergent and clearly any potentially contaminated water must be kept on the site. Our BlastSax can be used to contain contaminated water. Just like FloodSax they are space-saving to store and quick and easy to deploy.
